The Bulls had a ‘Missing Kat’ poster ready for the Timberwolves player introductions

Benny the Bull is helping lead the search.

The Bulls hosted the Timberwolves in their final preseason game of 2024, and rolled out a special sign for the occasion — the first time they’ve seen Minnesota since the team traded away Karl-Anthony Towns.

Benny the Bull proudly displayed a sign reading “Missing Kat,” with a few key details for those on the hunt. These included:

  • Towns’ measurables
  • “Last Seen in New York”
  • The phone number 612 673-1600 — which is the customer service number for the Timberwolves

The Wolves made the bold move to send KAT to the Knicks this offseason, getting Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo, Keita Bates-Diop, and first-round pick in return. New York hopes it will be the move that puts them over the top in a race for the NBA Championship, while the Wolves become a team even more focused on Anthony Edwards.

We’ll need to wait to see how this all plays out, but the Bulls poking a little fun at the situation may have worked at least for one night. The Bulls won the game 125-123, with Coby White leading both teams in scoring with 23.
